Projects are defined as any drawing activity that assesses the students’ mastery of drafting equipment and software. Projects demonstrate that students understand and can apply the concepts covered during the lectures and the reading and writing assignments in practical, hands-on exercises. (a grading rubric will be provided for each project)
All computer based projects and other assignments are turned in electronically through the district's Moodle Site. Students receive a time/dated confirmation that their assignment was turned in along with notice if the assignment was turned in late; there is no possibility for the instructor to loose students assignments since it is tracked by the system.
Detailed instructions are given to the students on how to submit assignments. This includes a step-by-step submission of documents during the first few weeks of school to ensure students understand exactly how electronic submissions are made.
***Project may also include non-computer based activities in which case there is not an electronic submission. This includes architectural models and other tangible objects created in class.
